Storage Quotas & Limits
To ensure high performance and fair resource distribution, Yuktis implements a structured storage quota system. This affects all uploaded assets, including images, videos, and project documents.
Quota Structure
Storage is calculated based on total file size across all projects within a specific entity:
- Organization Level: Each organization starts with a 1GB storage limit. This includes all assets uploaded by team members and managers.
- Client Level: Each specific client portal is allocated up to 500MB. This helps keep client-specific deliverables organized and prevents one client from consuming the entire agency quota.
Monitoring Usage
You can view current storage usage in two primary locations:
- Dashboard Overview: The Manager Dashboard shows a real-time progress bar of the total organization storage consumed.
- Asset Manager: The Assets section provides a detailed breakdown of which files are consuming the most space.
What Happens When a Limit is Reached?
If your organization or a client reaches their storage limit:
- Uploads Blocked: Further file uploads will be restricted until space is cleared.
- Notifications: Managers will receive a notification when usage exceeds 90% of the allocated capacity.
- Existing Files: All current files remain accessible and safe; nothing is automatically deleted.
Managing Space
Deleting Unused Assets
To free up space:
- Navigate to the Assets tab.
- Identify old project files or large video drafts that are no longer needed.
- Select the items and click Delete.
- Note: Deletion is permanent and space is reclaimed immediately.
Maintenance Script
Yuktis automatically runs a cleanup cycle every 30 days to purge orphan files from organizations that have been inactive or failed to complete onboarding, ensuring the global infrastructure remains lean.
Upgrading Limits
If your agency requires significantly larger storage capacities (e.g., for high-resolution video production), please contact your system administrator to discuss custom quota allocations beyond the 1GB default.
