Team Access Management

Yuktis uses a strict Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) system. Understanding who sees what is critical for keeping your data secure and your team focused.

The Hierarchy

Yuktis has a tiered permission system:

  1. Manager (Admin): God mode. Can see everything, change billing, invite users, and delete projects.
  2. Associate (Project Manager): Can manage tasks and projects but cannot change organization settings.
  3. Graphic Designer / Video Editor / Copywriter: Specialized roles. They see tasks assigned to them and tasks in projects they are members of.
  4. Client: Restricted external view. Only sees approved content and assets.

Managing Invitations

Inviting a New Team Member

  1. Go to Team > Invite User.
  2. Enter their email.
  3. Select a Role (e.g., "Graphic Designer").
  4. Click Send Invite.

They will receive an email to join your organization. Until they accept, they will appear as "Pending".

Removing a User

If a freelancer leaves or an employee moves on:

  1. Find them in the Team list.
  2. Click the Three Dots (Menu).
  3. Select Remove from Organization.

Security & Passwords

Administrative Password Resets

If a team member loses access to their account and cannot use the "Forgot Password" link:

  1. Navigate to the Team section.
  2. Find the specific user row.
  3. Click the Reset Password button (only available to Managers and Super Admins).
  4. Enter the new temporary password and confirm.
  • Security Note: Always verify the person's identity before performing an administrative reset.
  • Restriction: Managers can only reset passwords for users within their own organization.

Best Practices

  • Least Privilege Principle: Give users the lowest level of access they need to do their job. Don't make everyone a Manager.
  • Offboarding: Make removing access part of your HR offboarding checklist.
