Team Access Management
Yuktis uses a strict Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) system. Understanding who sees what is critical for keeping your data secure and your team focused.

The Hierarchy
Yuktis has a tiered permission system:
- Manager (Admin): God mode. Can see everything, change billing, invite users, and delete projects.
- Associate (Project Manager): Can manage tasks and projects but cannot change organization settings.
- Graphic Designer / Video Editor / Copywriter: Specialized roles. They see tasks assigned to them and tasks in projects they are members of.
- Client: Restricted external view. Only sees approved content and assets.
Managing Invitations
Inviting a New Team Member
- Go to Team > Invite User.
- Enter their email.
- Select a Role (e.g., "Graphic Designer").
- Click Send Invite.
They will receive an email to join your organization. Until they accept, they will appear as "Pending".
Removing a User
If a freelancer leaves or an employee moves on:
- Find them in the Team list.
- Click the Three Dots (Menu).
- Select Remove from Organization.
Security & Passwords
Administrative Password Resets
If a team member loses access to their account and cannot use the "Forgot Password" link:
- Navigate to the Team section.
- Find the specific user row.
- Click the Reset Password button (only available to Managers and Super Admins).
- Enter the new temporary password and confirm.
- Security Note: Always verify the person's identity before performing an administrative reset.
- Restriction: Managers can only reset passwords for users within their own organization.
Best Practices
- Least Privilege Principle: Give users the lowest level of access they need to do their job. Don't make everyone a Manager.
- Offboarding: Make removing access part of your HR offboarding checklist.
