Behind the Scenes: Why We Built the Yuktis Agency Platform
We were a scaling digital agency drowning in 15 different SaaS subscriptions, broken Zapier workflows, and manual client approvals. We couldn't find software that actually worked for agencies, so we built it.
The Yuktis Team
Founders
The "Frankenstein" Tech Stack
Before Yuktis existed, we were just like you: a rapidly growing digital marketing agency trying to survive our own success.
When we hit $80k a month in recurring revenue, our operations completely fractured. We were running the agency on what we called the "Frankenstein Stack."
We used Trello for our creative team, because they liked the visual Kanban boards.
We used Asana for our SEO and technical teams, because they needed complex sub-tasks.
We used Slack to talk internally.
We used endless Gmail threads to get client approvals on video edits and copy.
We paid for 8 different AI tool subscriptions (ChatGPT, Jasper, Ahrefs, Midjourney) that our team accessed via a chaotic shared password spreadsheet.
The Breaking Point: We realized we had a massive problem when an Account Manager spent three full days trying to figure out why a client's Q3 campaign was delayed. The strategy was in a Google Doc, the graphics were in Dropbox, the client approval was buried in an email from two weeks prior, and the task was marked "Done" in Asana.
We were paying over $2,500 a month in software subscriptions, yet we had zero visibility into our actual operations.
The Search for the "Agency Tool"
We assumed there was a software platform out there that solved this. We demoed everything.
What we found were incredibly powerful generic tools. Monday.com, ClickUp, Notion. They were brilliant at tracking data, but they fundamentally did not understand how a marketing agency operates.
They didn't understand the concept of a White-Label Client Portal where a client could securely log in and approve a deliverable without seeing our messy internal drafting process.
They didn't have Strict Multi-Tenant Security, meaning one misconfigured checkbox could expose Client A's data to Client B.
They didn't integrate the AI generation directly into the task card, forcing our team to constantly context-switch.
We realized that to scale to 7 figures without burning out our team, we had to stop using horizontal software designed for HR departments and construction firms. We needed vertical software designed exclusively for the complex workflows of a digital agency.
So, we built it.
The 3 Architectural Pillars of Yuktis
When we sat down to architect Yuktis, we designed it around three non-negotiable pillars that solve the specific pain points of agency founders.
Pillar 1: The Unified Command Center
We refused to build another tool that required Zapier to be useful.
Yuktis had to be the singular source of truth. We built the CRM, the Kanban workflow engine, the time-tracking, and the live reporting dashboards into the exact same database. When a creative logs 3 hours on a task, that data instantly populates the financial dashboard, allowing the agency owner to see the real-time profit margin of that specific client retainer.
Intake: Client submits form via portal.
Generation: AI instantly drafts the strategy.
Execution: Team completes tasks on the Kanban board.
Approval: Client clicks "Approve" in the portal.
Billing: Milestone invoice is automatically generated.
All of this happens without leaving the Yuktis URL.
Pillar 2: UI-Abstracted Artificial Intelligence
As AI exploded in 2024, we saw our team wasting hours trying to write the perfect "prompts."
We built over 50 specific AI tools natively into Yuktis. We hard-coded the complex prompt engineering into the backend. Now, if an SEO strategist needs a Semantic Topic Authority Map, they don't write a prompt; they just enter a keyword into a clean UI, and our servers orchestrate the complex LLM logic.
This standardized our agency's output quality and allowed us to track "AI Credits" to prevent massive API cost overruns.
Pillar 3: Enterprise-Grade Client Portals
We knew that to charge $10,000+ monthly retainers, we had to look like a $10,000+ agency.
Sending Google Drive links looks cheap. We engineered the Yuktis platform so every agency could deploy a secure, custom-branded portal on their own domain. We built the architecture with strict multi-tenant isolation, ensuring enterprise clients knew their proprietary data was cryptographically walled off from other accounts.
"We built Yuktis because we wanted to go back to doing brilliant marketing, instead of spending our lives doing administrative data entry across 15 broken SaaS tools. We built the machine we desperately wished we had when we started."
From Internal Tool to Industry Standard
What started as an internal tool to save our own agency quickly caught the attention of our peers. Other founders saw our workflows, saw our rapid turnaround times, and asked what software we were using.
Today, Yuktis powers top-performing digital marketing agencies around the globe. It is the operating system for the AI-driven, highly profitable agency of the future.
We didn't just build software; we built the infrastructure for scale.
